Undefeated Australian boxing superstar Tim Tszyu will fight for a maiden world title when he faces the former WBC champion, Tony Harrison at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday, March 12th in Sydney.
Tszyu was originally scheduled to fight Jermell Charlo for the undisputed title before Charlo suffered a broken hand during a sparring session. This will be Tim’s biggest and hardest fight to date, with the American Harrison being the only fighter to defeat Charlo in his career. The Main Event will also be a winner-take-all fight with the winner going on to face Charlo for the undisputed title. A risky fight that Tszyu did not need to take.
In addition to the exciting main event, No Limit Boxing have promised a host of Australia’s best up and coming boxing talent will be on display on the undercard.
This will also be the first time that the undefeated brothers Nikita and Tim Tsyzu will fight on the same card in their career. Their superstar former-champion father Kostya is also expected to be sitting ringside, with his father Boris, with the boys hoping “they don’t get too mental” whilst watching.
